National Car Rental announced Thursday that the company will be revealing several new television commercials and digital videos which will feature actor Patrick Warburton as part of the "Go Like A Pro" advertising campaign.
Warburton has been working with National Car Rental since 2014, and the new ads will feature the actor as the ultimate "control enthusiast" business traveler to highlight the company's commitment to providing frequent airport travelers with control throughout the rental experience.
The first 30-second commercial will debut during Sunday's NFL Sunday Night Football coverage, and will feature Warburton teaming up with 1980s rock band Loverboy comically showcasing the benefits of using National's Emerald Club membership. The other commercials will feature the veteran actor performing a self-appendectomy and taking his leisure travel too serious, all with a focus on customers being able to fully control their rental experience.

"Our 'Go Like A Pro' advertising campaign uses humor to address the lack of control frequently felt by travelers at the airport," National Car Rental vice president Rob Connors said in a statement. "By pushing the comedic envelope in these new ads, we're leveraging Patrick Warburton's portrayal of the ultimate 'control enthusiast' to remind business travelers that National offers unparalleled control over their rental experience as well as frequent free upgrades."
In addition to the television commercials, there will also be several digital shorts released featuring Warburton's "control enthusiast" character in fun and interesting scenarios. The ads are all meant to showcase National's Emerald Club loyalty program and the ability for customers to skip the rental counter and select their own vehicles.
