Following a 30-day dry dock after receiving a myriad of enhancements
and updates, Carnival Vista is returning to her homeport in Port Canaveral,
Florida.
Carnival Vista's exterior now sports the cruise line’s signature
red, white and blue livery on her hull. Several interior public areas have been
refreshed, and one of the most significant new features is the addition of a
Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, an expanding venue across the Carnival
fleet that honors military veterans and active-duty service members.
The casino
has been expanded with a new layout and a separate non-smoking annex was added.
Retail shoppers can enjoy the all-new Effy Jewelry store and
a new Cherry on Top. Teens Club O2 was created in a new location and the
ship’s arcade was relocated and redone. Additionally, the Lido Marketplace has been
refreshed with a brand-new look.
The 4,000-guest Carnival Vista will now resume its year-round
sailings from Port Canaveral, mostly offering six- and eight-day Caribbean
itineraries featuring popular destinations such as Half Moon Cay, Bahamas,
Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos, Aruba, San Juan, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten and
St. Thomas.
Carnival Vista, which made a dramatic rescue late last year, is part of the cruise
line’s four-ship deployment in Central Florida, which is also home to
Carnival Freedom, Carnival Liberty and Mardi Gras.
