The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA)’s 2027 RiverView conference is next March, and the association wants travel advisors to know tickets will be available for purchase on September 16 at 11:00 a.m. ET.
The 2027 RiverView conference offers a comprehensive look at the river cruising segment, including a two-night sailing from Budapest to Vienna, plus an additional overnight in Vienna.
Advisors will be hosted onboard a selection of three ships: the AmaSofia, from AmaWaterways, the Riviera Radiance, from Riviera River Cruises, and the VIVA TWO, from VIVA Cruises.
Vienna will host the conference’s business sessions, along with a guided tour program offering ship tours with Avalon Waterways, TUI River Cruises, Scenic and Riverside Luxury Cruises. In Bratislava, advisors will enjoy a networking trade fair and local excursions in the small capital city.
Additionally, travel advisors have a new ‘Lite’ registration option for advisors to take part in a shorter form of the conference from March 6-8, including overnight stays on TUI River Cruises and Avalon Waterways, a lunch on a Scenic ship, and attendance at both business sessions.
For those who’d like to extend their stay, VIVA Cruises is offering a two-night pre-event sailing onboard the VIVA TWO, which advisors can book during registration.
To get travelers excited about the event and to help inform them about river cruising, CLIA’s ‘A Week on the Rivers’ webinar series will run from October 12 through October 16. Each webinar begins at 9:30 a.m. ET and discusses topical themes including river cruising in Asia, the Douro, the Nile, Christmas market cruises and the Rhine and Danube.
