Costa Cruises is marking the end of summer with a Labor Day promotion that gives travelers a chance to upgrade to a balcony cabin without paying the usual premium.

The offer applies to select weeklong Mediterranean, Caribbean and Canary Islands cruises departing from August 2026 through May 2027. Guests who book by September 13 can receive a balcony cabin for the price of an ocean-view cabin on eligible sailings.

The promotion covers 300 sailings across six Costa Cruises ships, including Costa Toscana and Costa Smeralda, along with Costa Deliziosa, Costa Fascinosa, Costa Favolosa and Costa Pacifica.

“Our Labor Day Sale delivers an elevated vacation at an exceptional value,” says Priscilla Reyes, head of sales for Costa Cruises North America. “Guests have the opportunity to experience Costa’s signature Italian-style cruising on itineraries that span some of our most popular regions.”

In the Mediterranean, Costa Toscana will sail roundtrip from Barcelona, Spain, on weeklong itineraries visiting Palma, Spain; Palermo, Civitavecchia (Rome) and Savona, Italy; and Marseille, France. Featured departures include December 14, 2026, January 11, 2027 and February 1, 2027.

Costa Smeralda will also sail from Barcelona on western Mediterranean itineraries, calling at Cagliari, Palermo, Civitavecchia, Savona and Marseille. Sample departures include October 12, 2026, and April 25, 2027.

In the Caribbean, Costa Favolosa will sail roundtrip from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, with stops in St. John’s, Antigua; Fort-de-France, Martinique; Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe; Basseterre, St. Kitts; and Philipsburg, St. Martin. Featured departures include January 18 and February 22, 2027.

Costa Fascinosa will offer roundtrip Caribbean sailings from La Romana, Dominican Republic, visiting Catalina Island, Samana and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic; Grand Turk in Turks and Caicos; and Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. Sample departures include February 7 and February 21, 2027.

Costa Smeralda will also explore the Canary Islands on roundtrip sailings from Las Palmas or Santa Cruz de la Palma, with calls at Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Funchal. Select departures, including Dec. 6, 2026, will visit Agadir instead of Funchal. Featured sailings include December 27, 2026, and February 26, 2027.

The Labor Day Sale is available to North American residents and is subject to the promotion's terms and conditions. Travelers can book through Costa Cruises or a travel advisor.

“The Mediterranean, Caribbean and Canary Islands are fantastic off-season destinations, offering ideal temperatures and less crowds, making now the perfect time to take advantage of Costa’s Labor Day Sale savings,” says Reyes.
