MSC Magnifica is getting a slate of upgrades, including a new MSC Yacht Club, an MSC Aurea Spa and an MSC Gym Powered by Technogym.
The ship will enter dry dock later this year for a major refurbishment, including a renovation of some of the public spaces. Bookings for the new MSC Yacht Club—the line’s “ship within a ship” concept—on MSC Magnifica are open now, for departures starting in the summer of 2026.
This marks the first time the MSC Yacht Club will be available on itineraries from Warnemunde to Baltic/Scandinavian destinations, as well as on the 2027 MSC World Cruise.
The MSC Yacht Club on MSC Magnifica will span five decks and will include 63 suites, a private lounge, a restaurant and a sun deck with a pool. The experience also includes 24-hour butler and concierge service.
“The MSC Yacht Club is one of our most highly regarded products, loved by guests for its outstanding level of service, elegant spaces and exclusive facilities, so we are proud to be bringing this to MSC Magnifica,” says Gianni Onorato, chief executive officer of MSC Cruises. “The extensive remodeling is the largest we’ve undertaken in the last ten years and underlines our commitment to offer our guests the best possible guest experience across our entire fleet.”
The ship is also getting a new MSC Aurea Spa, complete with two steam rooms, a salt room, Kneipp path, emotional showers and a relaxation area. In addition, it will emerge from dry dock with a new MSC Gym Powered by Technogym on deck 14.
