By December 14, 2017, Princess Cruises will already begin selling its European cruises and cruisetours for 2019.

Highlights are set to include Greenland, Dublin and the Northern Lights, as well as Ocean Medallion-equipped ships.

"Europe is a destination our guests want to come back to year after year," said Jan Swartz, Princess Cruises and Carnival Australia group president, in a press release. "Our 2019 itineraries offer so many desired European destinations and experiences that will leave our guests inspired and changed by the local culture, food, landscape and charm of these iconic places."

The brand will reprise Greenland aboard Pacific Princess, while new Crown Princess sailings will head from Dublin to the British Isles. Also, the Northern Lights will be showcased in Norway via the Sapphire Princess from London (Southampton), England on its longest season ever out of the port.

Altogether, Princess will have five ships in the region going to 130 total destinations in 37 countries from the Mediterranean to Northern Europe. There are 85 distinct itineraries scheduled on 211 dates, and 30 ports will feature more time ashore while five host overnights.

Each sailing will additionally include the line's Local Connections program for insider storytelling about upcoming destinations onboard.

New experiences extend to an 18-day Pacific Princess Greenland & Iceland cruise with an optional Edinburgh Military Tattoo opportunity and a Search for the Northern Lights 12-day circuit on Sapphire Princess-overnighting in Alta and staying late in Tromso.

Two-week Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Wales voyages on Pacific Princess are set to make inaugural calls on Portland (for Stonehenge), Portree (Isle of Skye) and Aberdeen.

Also new are 11-day Scandinavia & Russia sailings out of Helsinki, Copenhagen or Berlin (Warnemunde), as well as 12-day British Isles jaunts from Dublin, London (Southampton) or Paris/Normandy (Le Havre).

Other fresh options encompass 11-day Grand Mediterranean and Grand Western Mediterranean voyages aboard Emerald Princess that can combine to become a 22-day Grand Mediterranean Collection cruise. Plus, a special 29-day Spanish Passage & Panama Canal trip takes guests on Emerald Princess from Barcelona conveniently back Stateside to Los Angeles.

Other destinations opportunities are as follows:

Northern Europe

- Ocean Medallion-outfitted Regal Princess to Scandinavia & Russia on 11-day routes from Copenhagen, Berlin (Warnemunde), or Helsinki with overnights in St. Petersburg and late stays in Berlin (Warnemunde).

- Sapphire Princess to Scandinavia & Russia on 14-day sailings from London (Southampton), or Pacific Princess from London (Dover) with overnights in St. Petersburg.

- Ocean Medallion-outfitted Crown Princess to British Isles on 12-day cruises roundtrip from London (Southampton), Paris/Normandy (Le Havre) or Dublin.

- Ocean Medallion-outfitted Caribbean Princess to Greenland and Canada on a 16-day cruise, conveniently roundtrip from New York.

- Pacific Princess roundtrips from London (Dover) to boutiques like Greenland, Iceland, Norway, the Shetland Islands and the Faroe Islands.

- Overnights in Dublin on certain British Isles voyages and late stays in Belfast as part of all 12-day British Isles sailings.

- The Edinburgh Military Tattoo available twice via Pacific Princess and three times via Crown Princess from Greenock, Rosyth or South Queensferry.

Four additional cruise tours will add even more interest to trips during 2019.

Newly available along with 7-day Mediterranean or 11-day Grand Western Mediterranean sailings from Barcelona will be Highlights of Spain featuring Madrid, Valencia, Toledo and the sights and tastes therein.

Ring of Kerry tacked onto the 12-day British Isles voyage showcases a traditional Ceili dinner and the Cliffs of Moher, Killarney and Cork. Classic Italy adds points of interest such as Venice's St. Mark's Square and Doge's Palace, Rome's Coliseum and Vatican museums, as well as Florence's the Duomo and Michelangelo's sculpture of David to the 7-day Mediterranean & Aegean trip or the 11-day Grand Central Mediterranean trip.

Lastly, Imperial Treasures augments the 11-day Scandinavia & Russia cruise with historic Budapest, Vienna, Prague and Berlin.

Princess Cruises Captain's Circle loyalty program members who have achieved Elite status can newly make their reservations a day earlier than the general public on December 14, 2017. Also, a reduced deposit of 10 percent is available on bookings placed by August 31, 2018.
