Royal Caribbean is sharing new details about the entertainment and dining offerings aboard its new ship, Star of the Seas.

The 5,610-guest Royal Caribbean vessel is scheduled to debut in August from Port Canaveral, Florida. The ship will offer 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises, with stops at Perfect Day at CocoCay, the company’s private island destination in The Bahamas. Starting in December, travelers will also be able to visit Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in The Bahamas.

“At Royal Caribbean, we know that dining and entertainment are at the heart of our guests’ vacation experiences and memories,” says Kara Wallace, the brand’s chief marketing officer.

Star of the Seas will offer five signature shows across stage, air, water and ice, including “Back to the Future: The Musical.” Other productions include “Create,” which follows the soul-searching journey of a curious robot, and “Pirates & Mermaids,” which combines dance, artistic swimming and diving skills. The AquaTheater will also host “Torque,” featuring dancers, slackliners and synchronized swimmers, while Absolute Zero will feature “SOL,” featuring the largest cast of ice skaters yet.

Star of the Seas will offer more than 40 spots to dine and drink. The AquaDome Market food hall will have three new concepts, serving up barbecue, Southeast Asian cuisine and South American fare. Other dining options include Surfside Eatery, Basecamp in Thrill Island, Windjammer, Chops Grille, Hibachi & Sushi and Celebration Table.

The Lincoln Park Supper Club will be debuting on Star of the Seas. Located in the ship’s Central Park neighborhood, the multi-course dining journey draws inspiration from 1930s Chicago.

After dark, guests can enjoy an adults-only comedy show at The Attic, sing karaoke or head to the Casino Royale. In total, the ship will have more than 20 bars and nightlife spots.

“With the Icon Class lineup redefining what it means to vacation, Star pushes the boundaries of flavors and entertainment with a mix of brand-new and fan-favorite offerings, so every kind of vacationer can make memories of a lifetime together and in their own ways,” says Wallace.
