Royal Caribbean has unveiled its Alaska offerings for summer 2028, with four ships set to sail seven-night itineraries from Seattle, Vancouver and Seward.
Anthem of the Seas, Serenade of the Seas, Voyager of the Seas and the newly refreshed Ovation of the Seas will operate Alaska cruises starting in April 2028. Select sailings will also offer multi-night cruisetour land extensions, including opportunities to visit Denali National Park.
The 2028 Alaska season is now open for booking to Crown & Anchor Society loyalty members, ahead of its opening to member of the public on October 1.
The itineraries will visit destinations including Juneau, Skagway, Sitka, Ketchikan and Icy Strait Point, as well as scenic areas such as Hubbard Glacier and Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier. Royal Caribbean will offer sailings departing from Seattle, Vancouver and Seward.
From May through September, Anthem of the Seas will offer seven-night Alaska cruises from Seward and Vancouver, along with two- to six-night cruisetour extensions before or after select cruises.
The itineraries include visits to Hubbard Glacier and Ketchikan, where guests can choose from activities including fishing, kayaking, hiking and zip lining.
Onboard, guests can take in Alaska's scenery from the North Star observation capsule, an all-glass viewing platform, or use the ship's indoor activities, including the RipCord by iFly skydiving simulator and SeaPlex.
Ovation of the Seas will sail seven-night Alaska cruises from Seattle between May and September following its refresh.
The itineraries include stops in Sitka, Skagway and Juneau, along with scenic cruising in Endicott Arm and past Dawes Glacier.
The ship's onboard offerings will include the RipCord by iFly simulator, the new Sound Cellar music venue and the Pesky Parrot tiki bar. Dining options include Giovanni's Italian Kitchen, Chops Grille and Izumi Teppanyaki.
Serenade of the Seas will operate seven-night Alaska cruises from Vancouver between May and September.
Guests can explore destinations including Icy Strait Point, Prince Rupert and Juneau, with opportunities for activities ranging from hiking to zip lining.
Serenade also offers a rock-climbing wall, poolside movie nights and live music at the Schooner Bar. More than three acres of glass incorporated into the ship's exterior are designed to give passengers expansive views of the surrounding scenery.
Voyager of the Seas will sail seven-night cruises from Seattle from April through September, visiting destinations including Sitka, Juneau and Skagway, as well as Victoria, British Columbia.
The itineraries will give guests opportunities to see Alaska's coastal landscapes and wildlife, including grizzly bears, harbor seals and bald eagles.
Onboard, Voyager of the Seas features activities including ice skating, laser tag, mini golf and arcade games, while adults can relax in the Solarium.
Royal Caribbean is also highlighting its Seward infrastructure for the 2028 season. The cruise line's parent company, Royal Caribbean Group, has partnered with the Alaska Railroad on a new terminal designed to streamline the arrival and embarkation process while providing access to the neighboring railroad station.
The facility is also intended to serve the local community outside the cruise season, with space for sports, youth programs, group activities and other events.
