Silversea’s Silver Spirit is back on the water after renovations.
The upgrades include refreshed public spaces and the introduction of the brand’s S.A.L.T. (Sea and Land Taste) program.
Silver Spirit is now spending the summer sailing through Northern Europe, visiting destinations like Belfast, Edinburgh, Stavanger, Rosendal, Copenhagen and more. Later this year, Silver Spirit will embark on the “Grand Voyage Mediterranean.” The 50-day journey departs from Lisbon and visits 40 destinations in 12 countries.
Silversea is debuting a new poolside concept onboard Silver Spirit called Riviera. Inspired by the Mediterranean’s coastal destinations, Riviera is an all-day destination that evolves with the pace of the day. Mornings feature wellness rituals, energizing drinks and quiet moments by the pool, while afternoons include curated music and casual dining. In the evening, the space transitions to a more relaxed, social space.
Throughout the day, guests can enjoy relaxed poolside dining at Riviera, savoring menu items like salads, wraps, burgers, plant‑based options and seafood dishes such as ceviche and fish of the day. Riviera’s beverage menu features spritzes and cocktails, as well as white wines, rosés, light to medium‑bodied reds and Champagne for sunset moments. A range of low‑ and non‑alcoholic options are also available.
Riviera also offers an enhanced outdoor experience, complete with upgraded outdoor furniture, sun loungers, daybed and umbrellas. Guests can also enjoy a golf putting green, “Off the Deck” golf simulator and hitting bay and expanded fitness offerings.
Travelers sailing aboard the revitalized Silver Spirit will also experience the brand’s S.A.L.T. program for the first time. New venues on board include S.A.L.T. Kitchen, offering destination-inspired menus; S.A.L.T. Bar, which serves regional spirits and custom cocktails; and S.A.L.T. Lab, offering hands‑on cooking classes.
The ship also unveils a modernized Venetian Lounge, featuring new drapery and carpeting, reupholstered banquettes and a new state-of-the-art LED wall.
“The completion of Silver Spirit’s revitalization marks an important milestone for our fleet,” says Bert Hernandez, president of Silversea. “As the ship returns to service, we’re giving our guests a renewed onboard experience—one that blends relaxed sophistication, immersive dining and destination‑driven discovery. From refreshed spaces to refined culinary experiences, every update was thoughtfully designed to elevate how our guests spend their time on board, as Silver Spirit embarks on immersive voyages through Northern Europe.”
