U by Uniworld may have just launched its newly renovated ship The B, but the new river cruise line aimed at millennials is already expanding to Southeast Asia.

Uniworld announced it will add a third ship to its fleet, one that will be on the Mekong River.

No doubt, the cruise line plans to capitalize on the cruise boom in Southeast Asia that began a couple of years ago, driven by exotic locales, exciting itineraries and new opportunity from a growing Asia travel market.

Uniworld also revealed plans to call for a fourth ship to sail in Southeast Asia further down the road. This news comes on the heels of an announcement in August that Uniworld plans to launch a new super ship for it mainstream cruise line. The River Beatrice will be transformed into the S.S. Beatrice and launch in the spring.

Whether or not the new Asia ships will feature similar amenities remains to be seen. However, one can hope attractions such as silent discos and camping on the sundeck aren't too difficult to replicate onboard.

While its newest ship, The B, had its first inaugural sailing this month, its regularly scheduled season will begin in 2018.

"We're thrilled to make history with the launch of U by Uniworld and introduce a whole new generation to river cruising," said Ellen Bettridge, president and CEO of Uniworld said in a statement. "It's very exciting to see this vision come to life and to have such influential, well-traveled young people onboard to experience it for the first time."

When Europe sailings commence, guests will have the opportunity to head to a number of popular destinations around the continent. Itineraries focus on the Danube and Rhine Rivers while theme cruises include two Christmas market sailings.

Travelers between the ages of 21 and 45 who are ready to book can take advantage of an early booking discount through October 31, 2017, that offers a $50 onboard credit. Prices for the cruises start at $999 per person, which averages out to approximately $200 per person, per day-a good value for this type of full-service travel.
