After avoiding a direct hit and a swift recovery, Miami and its beaches are open for business following Hurricane Irma.
In order to encourage visitors to come to Miami, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) has launched a new campaign.
"We are proud of our local tourism industry for being among the first in the destination to raise their hand to keep the community moving forward," said William D. Talbert, III, president and CEO of GMCVB.
"Jobs are our top priority. Tourism is the number-one industry in Miami-Dade County and the #MiamiNow promotion celebrates the best of Miami's tourism industry across many sectors while welcoming visitors from near and far for some of the best value-driven offers the destination has ever seen," Talbert added.
The promotion features a series of offers designed to entice travelers to return to Miami. The campaign will run through October 31 and combines six of the GMCVB Temptations Programs: Miami Spice, Miami Spa, Miami Hotel, Miami Attractions, Miami Museums and Shop Miami Month.
Visitors can take advantage of deals with major savings on accommodations, restaurants, spas, museums, attractions and shopping. The GMCVB has brought back many of program's best offers, making it easy-and affordable-to support Miami's local businesses.
Miami Spice has been extended through October 31. Participating restaurants will continue offering reduced prices ($23 per person for lunch and brunch and $39 per person for dinner) in some of the city's hottest dining establishments.

Visitors will find hotels in the city and surrounding neighborhoods are offering special promotions as well as upgraded amenity packages.
Participating properties include Loews Miami Beach Hotel, Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Ritz-Carlton South Beach, Coconut Grove and Bal Harbour properties, Sonesta Coconut Grove Miami, Marenas Beach Resort Sunny Isles Beach, The Biltmore Hotel Coral Gables, EPIC Hotel, Four Seasons Hotel Miami and Mandarin Oriental Miami.
Miami Spa Month will take place through October 31. Visitors can take advantage of exclusive treatments at $109, $139 and $199 at more than 25 spas throughout the area.
When it comes to shopping, retailers around the city will be offering special savings and promotions. Special Miami Now offers and buy-one, get-one-free promotions will also be available at Miami's cultural institutions and art museums.
