In the United States, there are certain streets that have
become tourist attractions themselves.
For those planning a spring or summer adventure, we
identified the coolest strips of concrete in America, in no particular order:
Rodeo Drive: The epitome of cool and chic. It’s not
just dressed up like a movie set, however. This is a real working environment
with some of the most luxurious stores in the world. And most expensive. When
was the last time you spent $500 on a keychain? That’s not to mention the fancy
and exclusive restaurants. If you go to Los Angeles, this is a must-do.
5th Avenue: Think of Rodeo Drive and transplant it
3,000 miles east. This is where some of the most heralded people in New York
live. From actors to the literati, you’d be hard-pressed not to find a
celebrity here over the course of a day.
The Las Vegas Strip: A specific section of Las Vegas
Boulevard has been known to make or break regular folks.
Lombard Street: This San Francisco enclave of
Victorian homes is best known as the most crooked street in America.
Hollywood Boulevard: This Los Angeles street is known
for its landmarks. The interesting thing about Hollywood Blvd is that it is
both seedy and luxurious.

Miracle Mile: A terrific place to both shop and eat
in Chicago. In fact, nobody would be surprised to know that the combination of
residential and retail might work best here.
Pennsylvania Avenue: The seat of power in Washington
D.C., the U.S. and the world. Every step is a variable history lesson.
South Street: Everybody should know that this might
be the most diverse street in Philadelphia and America.
