Walt Disney World is giving guests a first look inside
Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, the new nature-inspired resort scheduled to open in
summer 2027. The latest preview highlights the resort’s grand lobby and Branch
& Brush, a new lounge overlooking Bay Lake.
The lobby will feature floor-to-ceiling windows designed to
bring the surrounding natural landscape into the experience. Disney said the
space will also include a shimmering fiber-optic river flowing around a custom
bronze centerpiece created by Walt Disney Imagineering.
The design draws inspiration from the music and storytelling
of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Pocahontas. Guests will also find familiar
Disney characters incorporated into the bronze centerpiece, while a suspended
blown-glass sculpture inspired by “Colors of the Wind” will add color and
movement to the lobby.
Just beyond the lobby, Branch & Brush will offer
handcrafted cocktails and views of Bay Lake. The lounge’s design will
incorporate natural textures, rich colors, seasonal artwork, and a
color-changing chandelier intended to represent the four seasons.

While Lakeshore Lodge is expected to welcome its first
guests in summer 2027, Disney Vacation Club members can begin making early
rental reservations on October 6, followed by Annual Passholders on October 7.
Reservations will open to all guests online and by phone on
October 8.
