Toy Story Land Coming to Shanghai Disneyland in 2018
Entertainment Donald Wood December 07, 2017

Officials from the Walt Disney Company announced Toy Story Land will be coming to Shanghai Disneyland in summer 2018.
Toy Story Land will become the seventh themed land at Shanghai Disney's park and the first post-opening expansion of the resort.
The addition of the new area demonstrates the confidence joint venture shareholders have in the growing consumer demand for themed entertainment in China, and Shanghai Disneyland in particular.
The new Toy Story Land will feature attractions and entertainment celebrating fun and imagination for guests of all ages. Guests will feel as if they've been shrunk down to the size of the characters from the hit franchise, including Woody, Buzz and their friends.
Visitors will find three new attractions and a uniquely themed character greeting area, including the Slinky Dog Spin mini roller coaster, Rex's Racer half-pipe shuttle coaster, Woody's Round-Up spinning horse-and-cart ride and the Meeting Post—an Old-West themed meet-and-greet area featuring characters from the franchise.

In addition, guests will be able to extend their Toy Story Land experience with shopping and dining opportunities, including Al's Toy Barn merchandise shop and the Toy Box Café restaurant.
Shanghai Disney Resort already has the only Toy Story-themed hotel in the world, and Shanghai Disneyland is also home to the popular Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue attraction.
