Valentine's Day is nearly upon once again and this year you are not going to blow it. You are going to pick a restaurant that is not only romantic, but is in itself a destination. There are plenty of romantic restaurants across the country, but here are some of the ones with the best view.
Top of the World Restaurant - Las Vegas, Nevada
One of the best vantage points in Las Vegas, the Top of the World Restaurant sits atop of the tower at the Stratosphere. At 844 feet in the air, the view is mesmerizing whether you are there day or night. The menu is prix fixe for lunch or ala carte and for dinner you have your choice of steaks, seafood, and pasta dishes.
You will also gain access to the observation deck as well. The deal here is if you want to go and hang out at Level 107, which is their lounge, you only have a two drink minimum and head up to the top to check out the view. They also do smooth jazz at least once a week which is a sure bet.
The Sundial - Atlanta, GA

Sitting 72 floors above Atlanta, overlooking one of the most diverse and spread-out skylines in the country, The Sundial offers up a great spot to get a drink or bite to eat. They serve lunch, dinner, brunch, drinks and dessert and the view is worth the trip no matter when you go. If you have someone who is a fraid of heights, be forewarned: the trip up the glass elevators is maybe more breathtaking than the restaurant itself as it is 85 seconds in a glass elevator strapped to the side of the building.
Also be advised that there are minimum expenditure per person because if you are eating or drinking, you avoid the $8 fee for admission to the view.
Sky City Restaurant - Seattle, Washington

This restaurant sits atop of the Space Needle and is the oldest revolving restaurant still in existence today. Built for the World's fair in 1962, the Sky City Restaurant sits at 500 feet about the ground and rotates a full 360 degrees in 47 minutes.
The restaurant is open for lunch, dinner and brunch. All of the meals include a trip to the observation deck with views of the Olympic and Cascade Mountains, Mount Rainier, Mount Baker, Elliott Bay and surrounding islands.
The View - New York City, New York

The View is the rotating restaurant at the Marriott Marquis in New York. It sits 48 stories up above Time Square and has some of the most incredible views you could ever want for a meal. For dinner they offer a three-course prix-fixe meal of fish, chicken or meat including venison and lamb.
They have an extensive wine list as well as a brunch buffet that is as delicious as it is extensive. If you aren't in the mood for a full sit down meal, feel free to grab a seat at the lounge (first come, first seated) where they serve a dinner buffet for only $38 per person. Cocktails are at an additional charge. It take an hour or so to go all the way around here.
Spinners Rooftop Revolving Bistro and Lounge - St. Pete Beach, Florida

The only rotating restaurant on the west coast of Florida, Spinners is located on the 12th floor of the Grand Plaza Hotel. Stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico and fabulous sunsets make lunch, dinner or just drinks here absolutely breathtaking. They do a great menu of sandwiches, salads and burgers for lunch and steak, seafood and pasta for dinner. It takes about one and a half hours to rotate all the way around, so plan to take your time.
So this year, go out there and sweep that significant other of their feet and take them away to a vacation Valentine's Day for a dinner with a view. They will be incredibly surprised and you will be a rock star.
