Avoya held its annual travel conference at the Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego, Calif., May 22-25. The event saw the launch of several new programs for Avoya travel agents aimed at elevating both the agent and customer experience. Avoya also reaffirmed its commitment to raising the awareness of travel professionals with consumers.
"This year's Avoya Travel Conference was our best yet with record attendance by Independent Agencies in the Avoya Network, industry leaders, supplier partners, and support staff," said Avoya president Brad Anderson.
"We had much to celebrate and were proud to share with our guests the many ways Avoya Travel is driving innovation to put travel professionals and the value they provide at the center of vacation planning and to support the Avoya Network in providing consumers with the best vacation experience. We are extremely pleased with the positive reaction from our key stakeholders and look forward to building on these programs and our collective success in the coming year," Anderson added.
This was a record year for Avoya's annual conference with more than 500 attendees, who were treated to a first-look at the new advancements the company has made over the last year.
The spotlight was on Avoya Infinity, which is a new marketing paradigm that aims to streamline the consumer experience by putting Avoya independent agencies in the center and enabling them to take advantage of the prospecting and loyalty loops.

Avoya was also celebrating a record 2016 sales year as well as record Avoya network growth.
In addition to learning of the many advancements made at Avoya, participants were able to partake in numerous general sessions, educational workshops and networking events.
