Travel Leaders Group announced Thursday it has settled a lawsuit filed by former vice president Mabelle Meyaart in February.
Court documents revealed the trial was originally scheduled to begin March 18, 2019.
Travel Leaders Group issued an official statement on the conclusion of the lawsuit:
“The parties resolved all of the claims brought by former TLG employee Mabelle “Mai” Meyaart. The pending case was dismissed without any finding of wrongdoing by Travel Leaders Group or its employees. The parties have no further comment.”
Meyaart worked at Travel Leaders Group from 2012 until July 2017, and previously accused Travel Leaders Group, CEO Ninan Chacko and President John Lovell of sexual harassment, wage discrimination, wrongful termination and unwanted sexual advances.
At the time the lawsuit was filed, Travel Leaders Group responded by calling the claims “meritless” and vowing to “vigorously” fight against the accusations.
