Following last year's successful Summit, in which 206 advisors and suppliers gathered together, Travel Experts, one of the premier host agencies, is planning its Summit 3 to take place March 25-30 as an exclusive charter onboard Seabourn Ovation sailing roundtrip out of Barbados.
"Last year's conference took place on a pair of Scenic Cruises luxury vessels sailing on the Rhine and our suppliers and advisors described it as 'a meeting that exceeded expectations' so we decided that another cruise ship would be most appropriate as a venue," said Sharon Fake, Travel Experts Director of Operations.
"We already have more than 50 suppliers that have signed up to participate and expect that we will sell out our advisor allotment very quickly," Fake added. All advisors are guaranteed meetings with all suppliers.
"The cruise venue worked well for everyone last year because it provided an intimacy and longer time allowed for meetings between individual advisors and suppliers," added Fake.
Travel Experts will arrange for speed dating meetings between all the advisors and the suppliers, and the suppliers will also share meals and join in on sightseeing excursions in the islands.
The five-night roundtrip cruise from Barbados stops at St. Barthelemy, St. Kitts & Nevis and Martinique. Some of the amenities included on the cruise are: open bar in all lounges and restaurants, all gratuities, complimentary Wi-Fi, 24-hour room service, complimentary wine with lunch and dinner, complimentary soft drinks, juices and bottled water, Bon Voyage bottle of Champagne in each suite, and more.
"Bookings are open now and are expected to sell out fast," said Heather McIntyre, Travel Experts Manager of Technology & Finance.
"Following the conclusion of last year's Summit the advisors said that the time was well spent and that they feel it will produce a great return on their investment to attend," McIntyre said, adding: "Most of the suppliers agreed and said that they also felt their companies would benefit from their attendance. The suppliers also felt that the ratio of advisors to suppliers and the time spent together with the advisors was perfect."
