Edinburgh, Scotland, has been selected as the host city for the 2015 Travel Leaders International Summit, it was publicly announced today. In his formal invitation to Travel Leaders' elite members, President Roger E. Block, CTC, announced that two of Edinburgh's most distinguished properties - The Balmoral Hotel and the Caledonian - would together serve as host hotels for Travel Leaders' premier annual event, April 24-26, 2015. Registration is officially open, along with the opportunity to register for exclusive pre- and post-Summit options offered by Globus family of brands and Rabbie's, Travel Leaders' In-Country Partners in Scotland.
"Befitting Edinburgh's preeminent place as the cultural and political capital of Scotland, this historic city is crowned by the famous Edinburgh Castle in the heart of its Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. So it's only appropriate that our 2015 International Summit will conclude at an actual summit - Edinburgh Castle will serve as our most unforgettable venue yet for our closing Gala Dinner," Block noted in his invitation. "By attending, you'll have plenty of time to network with your fellow Travel Leaders Associates, Headquarters leadership and top supplier partners through our elegant receptions and exclusive daily sightseeing tours that are synonymous with our International Summits. According to Block, the 2015 International Summit officially commences on April 24 with an opening reception and dinner at The Caledonian. After the Summit's Business Meeting on the morning of April 25, attendees will become immersed in Edinburgh through a VIP tour that explores both the Old Town and New Town, as well as a visit at the Royal Yacht Britannia.
April 26 provides attendees with two options: a golf outing at the renowned Gleneagles course or an excursion outside of Edinburgh including Scotland's heritage capital of Stirling, the National Wallace Monument, legendary Loch Lomond and the picturesque Distillery of Glengoyne. The evening will be capped with the gala at Edinburgh Castle.
