Nassau luxury resort, Baha Mar, revealed the full lineup of
events coming to The Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival, which runs between October
27-29.
The annual festival is filled with interactive celebrity
chef demonstrations, intimate and unique master classes, live performances and
the introduction of FUZE, a first-of-its-kind art showcase.
Opening the 2023 edition of the event is a special live
performance by 17-time Grammy-winning musician Sting, but the fun doesn’t stop
there. The festival will be hosted by world-renowned chefs, including Marcus
Samuelsson of Marcus at Baha Mar Fish + Chop House, Ken “Katsuya” Uechi of
Katsuya and Dario Cecchini of Carna.
Special guest celebrity chefs and talent appearances include
Amanda Freitag, Carla Hall, Geoffrey Zakarian, Scott Conant, Michelle
Bernstein, Eitan Eats, Simeon Hall Jr. and more.
The festival officially starts with a Sting performance at
the Welcome Beach Party, with visitors invited to continue the party at the
Bahamas’ premier rooftop bar, Skybar. Samuelsson will also welcome weekend pass
holders, who will close out the first night with the exclusive Marcus After
Dark events.
On Saturday and Sunday, Baha Mar's Convention, Arts &
Entertainment Center will come alive with the first-ever FUZE, Caribbean Art
Fair and Culinary Expo. The events include live entertainment, Bahamian
hospitality with onstage chef demos, food and wine tastings led by the top
sommeliers, art demonstrations from seven different Caribbean nations and more.
Saturday will conclude with a series of Signature Chef
Dinners hosted by the festival's headlining and guest chefs, as each duo takes
guests on a culinary journey with specially curated menus.
Tickets for the event are now on sale and range from $35 to
$1000 per person, per event. The Festival Weekend Pass—which starts at $799—includes
a premium welcome gift upon check-in, entry to the Welcome Beach Party Powered
by SLS Baha Mar and Marcus After Dark, unlimited access to The Bahamas Culinary
Expo Tent and FUZE Arts Expo Venue.
