The Cozumel Palace is scheduled to undergo a $15 million renovation to its public areas and accommodations, said The Palace Company, formerly known as Palace Resorts.
The refurbishment is scheduled to take place from Aug. 15-Sept. 30, 2024, with a “grand unveiling” set for early October, the company said.
New Walk Out Mezzanine Suites, with direct access to the pool are being added; and guestrooms will be outfitted with new furniture, smart televisions, whirlpool tubs and balconies.
On the culinary front, the resort will introduce Flamingo, an al fresco eatery, and refresh the Gondola, Momo and Bugambilias restaurants.
The children’s playroom will be doubled in size, offering a slate of new activities and a new exterior playground.
Other areas to undergo refurbishment include the lobby and lobby bar, the spa, the fitness center, hallways and the pool area.
The Palace Company is comprised of four brands: Palace Resorts, Moon Palace Resorts, Le Blanc Hotels & Resorts and Baglioni Hotels & Resorts.
