Vail Mountain in Colorado is expanding its winter
entertainment offerings with a concert lineup featuring electronic music
artists ILLENIUM and Ian Asher, along with seven on-mountain performances and
two new music venues for the 2026-27 ski season.
Grammy-nominated artist ILLENIUM will headline a performance
at Dobson Arena on December 11. Southern California-based DJ Ian Asher is
scheduled to perform at the venue on January 16, giving visitors additional
live music options during the winter season.
Vail also plans to expand its après-ski entertainment, with
live DJs performing Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. local
time at the base of Gondola One in partnership with Outer Range Brewing.
The schedule calls for more than 50 performers, nearly twice
as many as last season.
Other planned entertainment includes the return of the Vail
Ice Bar near the Legendary Back Bowls Gate and additional DJ performances at
Chasing Rabbits, a nightlife venue in the resort village. Vail said it will
announce more artists, venues and events throughout the winter.
The expanded music schedule is part of Vail Mountain’s
broader effort to give visitors more entertainment options beyond skiing and
snowboarding. The resort, which spans more than 5,300 acres of terrain, expects
the 2026-27 winter season to feature its most extensive music program to date.
