A Delta Air Lines Connection flight from South Carolina to
Michigan landed safely in Detroit after the captain asked airline supervisors
to meet the aircraft because of a reported conflict among flight attendants.
According to AirLive.net, Delta Flight 5090 departed
Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in South Carolina at 7 p.m. on
October 13, bound for Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport.
Endeavor Air, a regional carrier that operates flights under
the Delta Connection brand, operated the flight using a Mitsubishi CRJ-900LR
aircraft.
As the plane approached Detroit, the captain contacted
ground operations and requested that inflight management and supervisory
personnel meet the aircraft at the gate.
The captain reported conflict among the flight attendants
and said they might need to be separated to prevent the situation from
escalating.
The aircraft landed safely on Runway 21L at Detroit
Metropolitan Wayne County Airport before taxiing to Gate C21. Airline
management personnel were waiting at the gate to address the reported dispute.
No injuries or other aircraft issues were reported.
AirLive reported that the circumstances behind the
disagreement between the flight attendants remained unclear.
