On Tuesday, a Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta to Las Vegas was forced to make an emergency landing in Memphis due to a disruptive passenger.
According to FoxNews.com, an unnamed passenger was traveling on Delta Air Lines Flight 1603 when he began to argue with the woman seated next to him. The man began using vulgar language and other passengers asked the man to watch what he was saying, as there were children on the plane.
The male passenger using the vulgar language was confronted by another passenger in particular who informed him that he didn't want his children to hear those words. Instead of apologizing and defusing the situation, the man continued to curse and expressed how little he cared about the feelings of others.
The flight crew made the decision to divert the plane to Memphis, where local police boarded the aircraft and removed the disruptive passenger. As the man was led off the plane, many of the other passengers on the flight cheered for his removal.
One of the passengers, Gretta Handley, shared a video of the incident on Twitter

"Delta flight 1603 from Atlanta to Las Vegas diverted to Memphis as a precautionary measure due to a disruptive passenger," Delta Air Lines said in a statement. "The [Tuesday] flight landed without incident, the disruptive passenger was deplaned and the flight resumed to Las Vegas."
Memphis Airport Police took the man into custody, but the Federal Bureau of Investigation has jurisdiction over in-air incidents. The police held the man until the FBI arrived and took him into their custody, but the agency did not provide further details.
