Is the travel ban done?
It just might be, according to breaking news first reported by CNN.
President Donald Trump set the travel world on fire (not to mention the rest of the world as well) when he announced his promised "Muslim ban." The executive order temporarily restricted entry into the United States from seven countries- Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen - and fostered extremely heated debate.
Proponents of the measure believe that the order is simply in defense of America while the Trump administration seeks to strengthen current vetting of foreign travelers, especially refugees from countries torn apart by terrorist organizations and anti-American movements. Critics, however, believe the law both to be against American ideals as well as counterintuitive because it might actually make America less safe.

Yet, while Americans everywhere are free to agree or disagree with the order, the matter is likely to be ultimately settled not on cable TV or on social media, but by the court system, and one federal judge in Washington may have done just that.
Federal Judge James Robart, a George W. Bush appointee from Washington, issued a verbal restraining order preventing authorities from complying with President Trump's previous executive order. Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson said the order is effective nationwide, adding: "No one is above the law - not even the President."
