The Trump Hotel Collection has issued a notice regarding a possible security breach that could affect customers who made payment card purchases at the company's hotels.

According to a statement from Trump Hotels, the possible breach may be impacting guests who used their credit or debit cards between May 19, 2014, and June 2, 2015, at any of the following locations: Trump SoHo New York, Trump National Doral, Trump International New York, Trump International Chicago, Trump International Waikiki, Trump International Hotel & Tower Las Vegas and Trump International Toronto.

After discovering unauthorized malware access to payment card information in the system, Trump Hotels immediately contacted the FBI and an independent forensic investigator to handle the situation.

While there was no evidence that any information was stolen from the hotel's computer systems, the malware had access to payment card account numbers, card expiration dates, security codes and even names at the Las Vegas and Waikiki Trump locations.

Trump Hotels reports that the malware is gone from the system and that the company is already installing new safeguards against another issue like this in the future. In the meantime, Trump Hotels have listed things to do in order to protect your information just in case.

Some of the suggestions include reviewing all account statements as soon as possible and for several months following the incident, looking for any possible discrepancies. In addition to that, customers are also encouraged to check credit reports often for any new and unauthorized accounts being opened.

Trump Hotels will also offer customers who used their card at a property during the affected time period one free year of fraud resolution and identity protection services. Those impacted can call 877-803-8586 to find out their eligibility and enroll for protection.

The possible breach at Trump Hotels comes just days after a reported breach at Hilton Worldwide may have affected people who used payment cards at properties owned by the hotel company.
