Riviera Travel, a leader in ultra-premium river cruising, ocean yachts, and global land travel for more than 40 years, today announced the appointment of Hunter Swindle as vice president of sales, North America. Swindle joins Riviera's expanding North American team with more than a decade of experience in luxury travel sales, bringing extensive expertise in trade partnerships and strategic sales growth that will help accelerate Riviera's expansion in the North American market.

With extensive leadership experience spanning the cruise and luxury hospitality sectors, Swindle brings a unique blend of strategic sales expertise, relationship-building, and sales leadership. Most recently with Silversea Cruises, he led regional trade sales initiatives and managed key agency partnerships, driving growth and strengthening relationships across the travel advisor community. Previous roles with Four Seasons and Montage deepened his understanding of the luxury travel market and elevated his expertise in delivering exceptional partner and guest experiences.
Before entering the travel industry, Swindle built a strong foundation in sales leadership at Google, where he managed high-performing teams and drove commercial growth. Having grown up in a family deeply rooted in travel, he brings both a lifelong passion for the industry and a proven track record of revenue generation and partnership development.
Widely respected throughout the trade community, he was recognized as Partner Representative of the Year by Gifted Travel Network, one of Riviera's key partners, and brings experience working with leading consortia and agency networks, including Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network, Ensemble, and Travel Leaders Network. As Riviera continues to experience strong growth in the North American market, Hunter's leadership will support the company's ongoing investment in trade relationships, market expansion, and long-term success.
