Celebrity River Cruises has launched its new pre- and post-cruise experiences, with its guided, multi-day "Before and After Stays" now open for booking.
Travelers can choose from 2027 programs in Prague and Budapest as well as 2028 programs that will add Amsterdam and Lausanne to the mix.
Each two- or three-night stay offers guests personal, immersive travel experiences led by locals who know the destination best. Each Before and After Stay includes one Discovery Collection tour each day, and guests can choose one of at least three themed tour options based on their specific interests.
Guests won't be led by tour guides but rather "Local Storytellers" and "Destination Insiders."
For example, in Amsterdam, guests will meet a local contemporary artist who will take them through the city's street art scene, visiting Amsterdam's most vibrant creative districts. Guests will even be able to grab a spray can and co-create a piece on the wall themselves.
Additionally, every Before and After Stay includes premium or ultra-premium hotel accommodations, daily breakfasts and ship transfers.
"Every element of a Celebrity River Cruises sailing is designed to bring guests closer to Europe's culture, history and people, onboard and ashore," Celebrity Cruises President Laura Hodges Bethge said in a statement.
"Our Before and After Stays are more than an extension of a Celebrity River Cruises vacation, these stays are designed to deepen connection—to the cities, to the people who bring them to life, and to each other—leaving guests with the kind of stories and feelings that only come from truly getting close to a place," she added.
Celebrity River Cruises has 33 sailings scheduled for 2027 and 160 sailings in 2028, visiting more than 50 destinations along the Rhine and Danube.
