A New Way for Families to Enjoy Iceland

Thomson Family Adventures, a tour operator selling exclusively to families, is making it even easier for families to visit Iceland with a new nine-day itinerary that traverses the island of fire and ice.

"Iceland has all the right ingredients for an adventurous and educational family trip. The journey is jam-packed with educational stops, including beautiful glaciers, waterfalls and geothermal fields scattered across Iceland's diverse environment.

Visitors will experience the famous Blue Lagoon, swimming in the Atlantic at Alftanes, a visit to the Strokkur geyser, snowmobiling, a walk through the Pjorsarsalur Valley, a tour through Pingvellir National Park, an excursion through the Hraunfossar Falls, a boat tour of Breioafjorour Fjord and a farewell dinner in Reykjavik.

The journey is available now for travel this summer and is recommended for children eight years and older. Prices for the eight-night itinerary start from $7,490 per adult and $7,290 per child.
