Apple Leisure Group (ALG) has shuffled its leadership personnel with changes to take force Jan. 1, 2015.
Under the new structure, Jeff Mullen, president of Apple Vacations, will become chief operating officer (COO) for ALG's distribution group and will oversee all ALG shared operations and functions, including product development, purchasing and partner relations, and call centers for all ALG brands, including Apple Vacations, Travel Impressions and CheapCaribbean.com.
Tim Mullen (pictured above), president of Travel Impressions since its purchase from American Express in 2013, will return to the role of president of Apple Vacations, where he previously served as co-president for more than 26 years.
According to a statement from ALG, "During his time leading Travel Impressions, Tim Mullen defined a clear plan for growth and built a leadership team to drive the highest level of service, global product expansion and operational excellence."
As president of Apple Vacations, Tim Mullen will be responsible for advertising, marketing, reservations, e-commerce, sales, groups, customer service and revenue management.
Jeff Clarke, who currently serves as executive vice president of Travel Impressions, will succeed Tim Mullen as president of Travel Impressions. Clarke has a 26-year career of financial management and sales experience, including leadership roles at Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean International.
