This May, Women Leaders with unique life stories and diverse backgrounds will join forces to bring electricity to the remote village of Gongma in Himalayas.
Nestled in the midst of picturesque mountain landscapes, the village is home to more than 24 households and 300 locals.
Electrification of Gongma will encompass treading through beautiful Himalayan mountains to reach the 600-year-old village. Through the set-up of solar grids, the team will work together to bring light to this village.
The first edition of the Women Leaders Expedition in 2018 brought together Women Leaders from five different countries who spent nine days together in the Himalayan wilderness, bringing Light and Hope to a remote Buddhist nunnery nestled in the Himalayas
