Responsible tour operator Intrepid Travel is entering the accommodation rental space with Stay Intrepid, offering guests access to six properties for experience-led, community-centric stays that go beyond tours.
Stay Intrepid currently offers six accommodations across the world to rent: Daintree Ecolodge in Queensland’s Daintree Rainforest, Australia; Edge of the Bay in Tasmania; Arkaba Homestead in South Australia’s Flinders Ranges; Bamarru Plains in Australia’s Northern Territory; Ooraminna Homestead near Alice Springs, Australia; and Riad Joudour in Marrakech, Morocco.
Each property offers curated experiences, from First Nations-guided cultural walks to safari drives, cooking classes and more.

“Stay Intrepid represents an exciting next step in our ambition to bring immersive travel experiences to more people around the world,” said General Manager of Accommodation Australia at Intrepid Travel, Richmond Sear. “It opens up new opportunities to create stays that are experience-led and rooted in community, aligning with our mission to create positive change through the joy of travel.
“By working closely with people and partners in each destination, we’ve developed unique experiences that deepen travellers’ connection with nature and local culture, while providing an exceptional base for exploration and relaxation.”
