Intrepid Travel has debuted 55 brand-new itineraries launching in 2025, with six new countries and over 200 new experiences with trip styles geared toward 18- to 35-year-olds to sailing trips and more.
Intrepid travelers will enjoy new opportunities to visit Ladakh, India; Hokkaido, Japan; Cape York, Australia; The Maldives, Greenland and the West African nations of Benin, Togo, Ghana, Senegal and The Gambia.
A new expedition to Greenland takes travelers on a 10-day adventure by land, exploring the region on foot and learning about Greenlandic culture and ways of life.
Meanwhile, a new rail journey allows travelers to take the Trans-Mongolian Railway from China to Mongolia. The 11-day journey allows travelers to enjoy a traditional ger campsite and join local camel herders for a meal.
Active adventurers will love the 14-day India Trekking in Ladakh journey, where they’ll really go off the beaten path by trekking through ancient ruins, visiting Buddhist monasteries and camping in the wilds of the Markha Valley.
Young adults aged 18 to 35 will find their worlds expanded with the 17-day Real Australia trip, which takes travelers to meet koalas at the Koala Hospital in Port Macquarie, paddle boarding with the Gumbaynggirr community, sailing through the Whitsunday Islands and exploring all the fascinating country has to offer.
Families with children who’d also like to take a guided tour will love the magical Iceland Family Holiday, a six-day trip that offers explorations for all, visiting crater lakes, staying on a farm with Icelandic horses, and seeing the country’s volcanic wonders up close at the Lava Show in Vik.
Water lovers will love the new Sail Maldives itinerary: it’s an eight-day sailing onboard a traditional Dhoni boat, visiting beautiful beaches and snorkeling amongst the region’s colorful corals and tropical fish, guided by a local crew and leader.
Lastly, one special trip adds a bit more meaning to a traditional vacation: the eight-day Kenya Cycle Fundraiser is hosted by Intrepid’s non-profit, The Intrepid Foundation, and offers a cycling adventure with World Bicycle Relief. Along the way, travelers will meet with local foundations and spot some of the region’s most beloved wildlife.
