Eurobound unveiled a seven-day “Austria Family Package,” featuring two nights in Vienna, three in Salzburg, and one in Munich, Germany, respectively.
The package, which sells for $4,165 for a family of five, includes two-room accommodations in four- and five-star hotels, private touring, including a Salzburg tour led by the granddaughter of Captain Georg and Maria von Trapp, whose story was featured in “The Sound of Music.”
Fares can be modified for smaller groups.
In Vienna, trip highlights include several private tours, such as a food-and-coffee-house walking tour that visits the city’s best-known food market.
In Salzburg, von Trapp’s granddaughter will put the spotlight on "her favorite places, leading guests through the city’s narrow streets and walkways, visiting iconic sites associated with the film, while sharing stories of her family and their music” during the walking tour," Eurobound said.
Travelers will also enjoy a dinner at the city’s Hohensalzburg Fortress, an 11th-century castle complex.
On the last day of the tour, travelers will travel via private transfer from Salzburg to Munich for a final overnight.
