When choosing the next vacation experience, American
Airlines Vacations and the AAdvantage program are giving travelers the chance
to explore the world.
Through the Vacation Around the World offer, travelers can
save $125 when they spend at least $4,000 and book a stay of at least four
nights when booked by September 30. Multiple hotel stays are valid for the deal
if the total nights booked is greater than the minimum stay required.
Travel dates for the American Airlines Vacations deal run
through July 31, but blackout dates apply, including November 23, December 25,
January 1, March 31, May 27, June 19 and July 4.
To take advantage of the deal, travelers must use promo code
VACAY2023.
For AAdvantage members, bonus miles will be awarded to member
accounts for each booking within two weeks after travel is complete. Travelers
must enter a valid AAdvantage number when creating the online booking.
In August, American
Airlines announced it had ratified a new contract with the carrier’s pilots
valued at $9.6 billion. The Allied Pilots Association (APA) said the new deal
includes more than 40 percent pay raises over four years and higher company
contributions to retirement plans.
American CEO Robert Isom said the agreement with the
airline’s around 15,000 pilots would help “immediately expand its pilot
training and provide pilots with more opportunities for career advancement.”
