AmaWaterways puts a lot of time and effort into ensuring their menus include regional dishes, flavorful options and also a healthy balance.
The enjoyment of food and wine plays a huge part in creating enriching memories for their guests.
Joanne Weir-international cooking teacher and renowned chef-recently came aboard the AmaKristina and shared her passion for cooking with fresh ingredients and her love of wine with the guests on board. She was able to film a few episodes for her new PBS series, Plates and Places.
Joanne was sure to have various interactions and really engage the guests on their cruise from Amsterdam to Basel; she even ended up joining in on the Halloween party.
Come February, her show will air, and she will be highlighting the personalities of local chefs and winemakers from Amsterdam, Cologne, Strasbourg, Riquewihr and Rudesheim.
It's safe to say the guests enjoyed their time with Joanne, and Amawaterways will even be welcoming her back on their Bordeaux Culinary Cruise in July. They look forward to having her warm nature aboard their ship once again.
