Stay Active on your AmaWaterways Cruise

Many people aim to maintain balance in their life by eating healthy meals and staying active. There is no reason this should be any different when taking a vacation.
AmaWaterways is now taking action and offering guests the option to maintain their healthy lifestyles while taking a cruise.
They previewed their Wellness Program on AmaLyra’s Paris and Normandy cruises this past summer. This program is led by Selina, Amawaterways’ Sports Scientist. The guests seemed to really enjoy it, with a few of the favorites being early morning sundeck stretching and sunset core strengthening.
Due to the guests' response and the high participation in the program, the program will be offered on a number of other ships and sailings in 2018 as well.

With a massage room, fitness room, swimming pool, fleet of bicycles and walking track all onboard, packing a swimsuit and clothes to exercise in is a must. You’ll be able to keep your exercise regimen the same as it is at home—the only difference is you’ll have better views when onboard!
In addition to the physical activity options, AmaWaterways has included healthy culinary options in their menu as well. You’ll find hydration stations, breakfast vitamin shots and gluten-free meal options aboard the ships. Apart from maybe a few more glasses of wine and desserts, you'll be able to eat just as you do when cooking for yourself.
