Entertainment
Drake and Migos take over the Grand Garden Arena on October 5 and 6. Boyz II Men is in town for three weekends this month beginning October 5 through October 20 at The Mirage. Dropkick Murphys are coming to Park Theater on October 5.
Ozzy Osbourne will be making a stop at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on his farewell tour, "NO MORE TOURS 2" on October 13. Sting & Shaggy bring upbeat, island-flavored 44/876 Joint tour to Park Theater on October 13. System of a Down will take the stage at T-Mobile Arena on October 19 and on October 20, Jimmy Buffet returns to the Grand Garden Arena.
Widespread Panic returns to Park Theater for three-night beginning on Oct 26-28. Phil Collins will take the stage at MGM Grand Garden Arena on October 27. With final performances through October 28, witness The Magician of The Century, Criss Angel MINDFREAK LIVE! at the Luxor Hotel & Casino.
Finally, at the Grand Garden Arena is Phish taking the stage for four nights beginning October 31 and Cher returns to her residency at the Park Theater on the same day.
Oktoberfest
Kick-off Oktoberfest on October 6 at Mandalay Bay's Libertine Social and sip on a cold brew while savoring German-style favorites and a family-style dinner including three featured Oktoberfest beers, a souvenir stein and entertainment all night long. Tickets can be purchased here.
If you're just looking for a good beer to enjoy, check out Libertine Social's Oktoberfest Happy House from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. up until October 7. Also try the Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest beer on draft and a delicious beer-battered sausage sandwich served with German potato salad at ARIA's FIVE50 Pizza Bar up until October 7.
A Culinary Weekend
The weekend of October 12-14 will be a culinary weekend like no other! Enjoy The Chef's Table: an EPICurean experience at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino and Delano Las Vegas which features memorable events hosted by world-class chefs including Michael Mina, Charlie Palmer, Hubert Keller, Shawn McClain, Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken.
Enjoy cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, gourmet showcases and the Martha Stewart Wine and Food Experience featuring Martha Stewart as well as taste dishes from Park MGM's Primrose and Juniper Cocktail Lounge and ARIA's Bardot Brasserie and FIVE 50 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds near Circus Circus Hotel. Also, this weekend is the JBF Celebrity Chef Tour at the Luxor Hotel, where you can enjoy multi-course meals, wine pairings, a decadent dessert course and a Q&A session with seven renowned chefs from around the country.
Sports
Hockey season is back and the Vegas Golden Knights, the first professional sports team in Las Vegas returns to T-Mobile to play against Philadelphia, Buffalo, Anaheim, Vancouver, Tampa Bay and Ottawa this month. 4 hours before the puck drops on Vegas Golden Knights home games, The Park come alive. Take a photo with Chance, the Vegas Golden Knights mascot while live DJs keep the party going and enjoy live music and hockey drink specials.
The biggest fight of 2018 will take place at T-Mobile Arena as "The Notorious" Conor McGregor returns in an attempt to retake the UFC lightweight title from the hands of unbeaten champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in the main event of UFC 229 on October 6. The Los Angeles Lakers return to Las Vegas! Catch them on Wednesday, October 10 at T-Mobile Arena as they take on the Golden State Warriors at 7 pm.
The Park
The Fall Brew Celebration continues in October bringing six weekends of libations and countless beers to The Park. This festival will celebrate the art of beer with themed weekends highlighting brews from around the world. On October 4- 6 and October 12 - 13 from noon to 5 p.m. enjoy Irish and international beer from around the world.
On October 26 through October 28, 1p.m.-8 p.m., purchase tickets to the Elysian Great Pumpkin Road Show, where The Park and New York-New York will partner with Seattle-based brewing company Elysian Brewing for a pumpkin-themed beer celebration. Featuring up to 50 different pumpkin brews, this traveling beer festival will make a stop in Las Vegas for the first time ever!
