The 2026 Future Leaders in Travel event, powered by TravelAge West, took place August 25-28 at the El Dorado Royale in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
Grupo Lomas served as host for nearly 140 travel professionals who gathered for general sessions, professional development workshops, advisor-supplier one-on-one appointments, networking excursions and more.
A total of 75 advisors between the ages of 22 and 40 were vetted and selected among hundreds of applications to be hosted at the Northstar Travel event.
The attendees represent the next wave of travel industry stars. Some have been in the industry for just a few years while others have been here over a decade, starting in their early 20s and already building an impressive book of sales. Multiple advisors in attendance are already million and million dollar plus sellers.
The event, which will be celebrating its 10-year anniversary next year, provides a space for the foundation of growth in the travel industry. The connections made here build lasting relationships and lead to major bookings. Advisors in years past have said their sales have doubled and even tripled since attending and applying the lessons learned at Future Leaders in Travel.

The 2027 Future Leaders in Travel will be held at Atlantis Paradis Island in Nassau, Bahamas on August 22-25. Applications will open in the spring of 2027.
