Century Cruises has officially debuted in Europe with the brand-new ship, the Century Star.
TravelPulse had the honor of being onboard for the inaugural voyage on the Danube River last week, along with 14 travel advisors as part of a Northstar Travel Group Social Ambassador FAM.
The Century Star, which can hold up to 174 passengers with 49 crew members, was at full capacity for it's first voyage. It was unfortunately impacted by the historic low water levels taking place in Europe, however the Century Cruises executive team was on hand to make sure the debut still went smoothly.
While onboard, we caught up with David Fredericks, President and General Manager of the Americas for Century Cruises, to discuss how the new ship was designed, along with how his team adjusted on the fly, adapting to daily changing water levels.
