SeaWorld brings guests closer to animals, inspiring them to take action and protect these amazing species. The San Antonio park now has a new way to get up close with some of these majestic animals - Discovery Point is now open!
This new area of the park will offer guests a whole new way to experience and interact with bottlenose dolphins, and other marine life and explore the wonders of the ocean. Here are just a few ways:
1. Visit the all-new underwater viewing areas to get a glimpse of our bottlenose dolphins.
2. Want to get a little closer? Sign up for our new dolphin swim experience and interact with one our 21 Atlantic bottlenose dolphins while learning about dolphin behavior and communication, as well as SeaWorld's ongoing local and worldwide dolphin research and rescue efforts.

3. By the way, there is more to see here than just dolphins. Discovery Point offers the only in-water dolphin swim in Texas, and is the welcome center for Beluga and Sea Lion swims.
4. Explorer's Reef is home to more than 350 species of fish, invertebrates and amphibians, as well as five different species of sharks.
5. Finally, take in the nature that surrounds you - Discovery Point is covered in more than 7,100 plants comprised of 80 different species ranging from native trees and palms to tropical ferns and bamboo.
