Bowman’s Travel Brief: Big Brands Come Together

Last week saw big travel brands come together in a variety of ways.

First, our leading travel partners came together to offer some amazing prize giveaways to celebrate the upcoming Global Travel Advisor Day on May 1. 

Opportunities for advisors include free cruises, free all inclusive resort stays, free flights, and more.

Travel advisors are the core of the industry. We’re thrilled Virgin Voyages, United Airlines, G Adventures, Globus family of brands, Viking, Holland America Line, Palladium Hotel Group and Princess Hotels & Resorts are showing their support for the advisor community in such an epic way.

Also last week, Hard Rock announced a massive new loyalty program deal with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises.

Travelers who are members of the brands’ loyalty programs will be able to take advantage of perks and discounts, having access to “reciprocal benefits.”

Perhaps the coolest perk on this partnership is that high level Hard Rock loyalty members will receive an annual complimentary cruise on select ships and itineraries, and premium tier Club Royale and Blue Chip members will receive complimentary trips at select Hard Rock hotels and casinos around the world.

That’s a fantastic way for these brands to honor their best customers…and it might just incentivize others to reach that new level of the loyalty program.
