The Greatest Thing at Disney World Right Now Can be Found at Animal Kingdom – And It’s Under $10

Animal Kingdom is officially home to the best thing at Walt Disney World.

And no, I’m not talking about a roller coaster or even the brand-new Bluey attraction that recently debuted at the park.

The Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich is the sweet treat that’s gone viral this year, and it is without a doubt one of the greatest snacks I’ve ever tasted.

It’s been a month since my last trip to Disney World and I’m stilling dreaming about it. The bottom layer is a brownie, the middle layer is vanilla ice cream, and the top is chocolate chip cookie dough. That combination is pure bliss with every bite.

Each of these items are delicious on their own but combining them into a layered bar elevates the Disney snack game to new heights.

It originally debuted at Terra Treats, a snack stand just before you cross the bridge to enter the land of Africa.

It has become so popular, creating long lines of guests sometimes waiting 15 minutes or even longer, that the park added a second location to buy the treat. Guests can now also purchase it at the outdoor concessions stand on the right once you leave the Discovery Island area.

The best part is this oh so tasty treat costs less than $10 – it is currently selling for only $8.29. You might be thinking that is a lot for an ice cream sandwich, but this is no ordinary snack. It is massive. Sure, it should probably only be $5, but inflation, am I right?

I initially ordered two, thinking our family of four would need more than just one. But once they handed it to me, I realized this is a snack designed to be shared, so I ended up giving the second one away to someone waiting at the back of the line.

Did I want to devour the entire thing myself after the first bite? Yes, of course I wanted to…but then I saw the look on my children’s faces and remembered what Disney is all about.

When Dinoland USA closed to make way for the new build Tropical Americas, which will feature attractions based on Encanto and the Indiana Jones franchise, it meant the kiosks with the beloved ice cream sandwiches were going away.

Once the Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich hit social media after its launch earlier this year it instantly went viral. People were even baking it at home to try and re-create the delectable dessert.

Don’t get me wrong, a classic Mickey Bar is still a must eat with any Disney visit, but it is no longer the go-to Disney World dessert. This Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich is next level. It honestly should be at every single park, but I don’t see Disney doing that just yet because it makes it more special by only selling it at Animal Kingdom right now.

There aren’t many items around the parks you can find under $10 that will match the significant value this new snack offers.

So, on your next visit, even if you see a line, I promise you it is well worth the wait for the viral Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich.
