The World's 30 Best Cities for a Bachelorette Party in 2019

Where The Fun Is

1/31
The summer is a popular time for bachelorette parties and Globehunters has analyzed a wide range of factors across dozens of destinations to help with the planning process. The airfare comparison site reviewed average accommodation and cocktail costs and the number of bars and spas per square kilometer in addition to other factors such as safety to determine the top cities for an unforgettable bachelorette party in 2019.

1. Paris, France

2/31
Despite lofty nightly accommodation costs, Paris can't be beaten when it comes to two of the most crucial aspects of a memorable bachelorette getaway. The City of Light ranks number one for both bars and spas per square kilometer with 9.7 and 8.53, respectively.

2. Barcelona, Spain

3/31
Similar to Paris, the capital of Catalonia is chock-full of bars and spas, giving fiancees and their friends plenty of options when it comes to not only relaxing but having a good time.

3. Lisbon, Portugal

4/31
Elsewhere on the Iberian Peninsula, Lisbon is more affordable and slightly safer than Globehunters' top two cities, with the average nightly accommodation cost for 10 coming in at just under $400. It also receives a safety rating of 69.64 (Paris received 48.21).

4. Prague, Czech Republic

5/31
Much like Lisbon, what Prague lacks in terms of bars and spas it more than makes up for in terms of affordability and safety. It also doesn't hurt that it's among Europe's prettiest cities.

5. Valencia, Spain

6/31
Bachelorette party planners eyeing Spain for their hen party can save money in Valencia, a much cheaper option compared to tourist-heavy Barcelona, based on Globehunters' analysis.

6. Belgrade, Serbia

7/31
Arguably the most underrated destination in the top 10, Belgrade boasts only 0.41 bars per square kilometer and just 0.11 spas per square kilometer but only Singapore fares better in terms of the average nightly accommodation cost for 10 ($195).

7. Singapore

8/31
Brides-to-be who are traveling on a tight budget might consider Singapore as it ranks tops for lowest average nightly accommodation cost for 10 people at $189. That's nine times more affordable compared to Las Vegas, Globehunters found.

8. St Petersburg, Russia

9/31
Much like Belgrade and Singapore, affordability propels St. Petersburg into Globehunters' top 10 with the average nightly accommodation cost for a group of 10 coming in at just $220 and the average cocktail costing just $5.54.

9. Hong Kong

10/31
Hong Kong is the safest destination in the top 10 although the price may be a concern. The average nightly accommodation cost here is more than twice that of Singapore, according to Globehunters' data.

10. Seoul, South Korea

11/31
Another Asian metropolis offering no shortage of fun, Seoul might just be the ideal balance between Singapore and Hong Kong as visitors won't be overwhelmed by hotel and cocktail costs.

11. Tel Aviv, Israel

12/31
Watering holes and spas are plentiful in Tel Aviv and it certainly doesn't hurt to have the option of relaxing on the beach. Groups planning a bachelorette getaway to Israel's Mediterranean coast will want to save up some money first though as hotel stays and drinks can add up quickly.

12. Budapest, Hungary

13/31
Budapest is renowned for its one-of-a-kind architecture and stellar local cuisine but there's a lot more to love for bachelorette groups, including affordable accommodations and cocktails compared to other large European cities.

13. Tokyo, Japan

14/31
According to Globehunters' research, Tokyo is the safest destination for a bachelorette party, earning a safety rating of 83.5. For perspective, New York City received 56.67.

14. Bangkok, Thailand

15/31
Bangkok is the cheapest city Globehunters analyzed when it comes to getting around via taxi. Traveling one kilometer in the Thai capital will only set your group back about $0.20.

15. Montreal, Quebec, Canada

16/31
The top North American destination for a bachelorette party, Montreal is an artistic city with tons to offer female revelers. However, accommodation costs could set your group back quite a bit, based on Globehunters' research.

16. Copenhagen, Denmark

17/31
Seeking a safe destination with plenty of bars and nightlife where your dollar will stretch farther? Consider Copenhagen. Plan your trip for September to avoid the crowds and save on your hotel stay without having to subject your group to frigid temperatures.

17. Edinburgh, Scotland

18/31
While it's not the cheapest, Edinburgh has got plenty of pubs to keep the good vibes flowing from start to finish. It's also among the safer destinations in the U.K.

18. Marbella, Spain

19/31
Located along Spain's Costa del Sol between Malaga and Gibraltar, sun-soaked Marbella is the perfect place for a pre-wedding celebration. Bachelorette groups certainly won't want to miss out on the Golden Mile Promenade filled with exceptional nightclubs.

19. Brighton, England

20/31
Undoubtedly a surprise entry in the top 20, the English seaside resort town of Brighton is one of the few destinations possessing more than two bars per square kilometer. What's more, it's a relatively short train ride from London making it ideal for a day trip.

20. Amsterdam, Netherlands

21/31
Amsterdam has quite the party city reputation in large part because of its famous Red Light District and with more than 2.5 bars per square kilometer groups won't have any trouble finding a good time in the Dutch capital.

21. Istanbul, Turkey

22/31
A sensational destination that's earned its way onto many travelers' bucket lists, Istanbul is affordable and overflowing with history. Nonetheless, party-minded groups might want to look elsewhere as it offers just 0.03 bars per square kilometer and only 0.04 spas by the same measurement.

22. Buenos Aires, Argentina

23/31
If cocktail costs are a top priority, Buenos Aires is just the place as the average adult beverage here will only run you $4.38. That's more than $14 cheaper compared to Singapore.

23. Newcastle, England

24/31
Globehunters' analysis suggests Newcastle should be on your short list when planning a bachelorette party this year. The Bigg Market is a no-brainer for fiancees and their friends seeking a lively place to celebrate well into the night.

24. Liverpool, England

25/31
Liverpool trails Newcastle despite possessing more bars and spas per square kilometer as it's less budget-friendly. The average nightly accommodation cost for a group of 10 is nearly $550 while a cocktail costs more than $10.50 on average.

25. Berlin, Germany

26/31
Bachelorette groups visiting Berlin can do brunch and tour captivating markets during the day and enjoy a one-of-a-kind, super casual nightlife after the sun goes down.

26. Athens, Greece

27/31
Although few cities can compete with Athens' history and culture, it pales in comparison to other European cities in terms of bars and spas. Still, it's more affordable than most, making it a worthy consideration.

27. Bristol, England

28/31
Another U.K. city boasting more than two bars per square kilometer, Bristol is slightly more expensive than top-ranked Paris when it comes to accommodations, with the average nightly cost for a group of 10 coming in at a hefty $820.

28. Beirut, Lebanon

29/31
Lebanon's capital and largest city, Beirut is yet another surprising entry on Globehunters' list. It offers nearly one bar per square kilometer and an average nightly accommodation cost for 10 of just $356.

29. Dublin, Ireland

30/31
The Guinness Storehouse alone is enough entertainment for one weekend in Dublin so brides-to-be and their friends should have no trouble celebrating the right way in Ireland's historic capital.

30. New York, New York

31/31
The Big Apple is the highest-ranked U.S. city for a bachelorette party in 2019-Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, New Orleans and Las Vegas also made the index but failed to crack the top 30-as a result of its robust selection of bars, spas and entertainment offerings. Plan your visit for the fall and you could nab a sweet hotel deal, giving you more money to spend on making memories.
