WHY IT RATES: The 2026 Israel Canada Fashion Week in Tel Aviv, led by Motty Reif, will focus on "Groundbreaking women" and feature fashion shows and projects highlighting female empowerment, innovation, and social issues.
2026 Israel Canada Fashion Week Tel Aviv, initiated by producer and entrepreneur Motty Reif, will take place for the 16th year at the Kremenetski 7 complex in Tel Aviv, reaffirming its place as a major event on Israel’s cultural and fashion calendar.
Over the years, Fashion Week has promoted sustainability, containment and a concept of beauty that makes room for diversity, equality and inspiration.
This year, the event will focus on "Groundbreaking women", a tribute to women who make a difference, lead in their fields and inspire others. The fashion shows and special projects will explore female power, innovation, Israeli creativity and social issues, such as equality, solidarity, diversity and equal opportunity.
The gala event will be held on Sunday evening, November 8, 2026, featuring a special fashion show by 14 of Israel's top designers. As part of the show, the designers will present original pieces created especially for the event, inspired by Israel's most prominent and influential architects and the iconic buildings they designed, in a unique blend of fashion, architecture and Israeli design.
Fashion Week will also feature a special tribute show to the late Fini Leitersdorf, Israel's first fashion designer, marking the 120th anniversary of her birth. A pioneer who laid the foundations of Israeli fashion. Leitersdorf paved the way for the generations of designers who followed. As part of the tribute, a scholarship in her name will be awarded for fashion studies at Shenkar.
For the first time, Bezalel's Department of Jewelry and Fashion will take part in Fashion Week. In addition, Dr. Yaara Keydar will be giving a lecture dedicated to the memory and legacy of the late Ronit Elkabetz. Elkabetz was one of the groundbreaking women who left a deep mark on Israeli culture and fashion.
Participating designers include Alon Livne, Shai Shalom, Shahar Avnet, Aharon Genish, Holyland Civilians (celebrating 10 years), KOBO by Jakob Atad and young designers from the next generation of Israeli fashion.
Motty Reif, entrepreneur and producer of Tel Aviv Fashion Week, said, "Israel Canada Fashion Week Tel Aviv is much more than fashion. It is a stage for Israeli creativity, for making a statement and for making an impact. This year we are dedicating Fashion Week to groundbreaking women, women who lead, create, make a difference and pave the way for others."
