Many of us, after being stuck in our houses for over a year, have a strong desire to get out and explore the world again. We've also realized that many of our jobs can be done remotely, over the Internet or through phone calls. So why not get out and explore the world while staying connected to our work? Become a digital nomad, and you can work from anywhere and experience almost any culture -- as long as you have a steady Wi-Fi connection, that is.

Phuket, Thailand

In first place is Phuket, Thailand, the country's largest province with over 33 islands. Here, you'll find some of the world's best beaches, surround yourself with lush rainforests and limestone cliffs and perhaps even spot some rare animals in their native habitats. Thailand is also located nearby to other countries, so weekend trips are certainly possible here, too. The area features two national parks, plenty of cultural and historical attractions as well as delicious seafood cuisine.

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
