As of September 15, 2026, travelers with Global Entry or enrolled in a Trusted Traveler Program will have a new all-use app to use, called the Trusted Traveler mobile app.
According to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection website, the new app will replace both the Trusted Traveler Programs app and the Global Entry app, combining them into a single new one.
NEXUS, SENTRI, Global Entry and FAST members can download the app and sign in using their credentials as of September 15. In some participating locations, travelers can use the app for Global Entry mobile arrival processing.
Travelers in any of these programs won’t need to change their membership or credentials; only the two current apps will switch to the single app. Travelers should not reapply for Global Entry if they’ve already been approved.
Members of any of the above programs can easily download the new Trusted Traveler app beginning September 15. They’ll be prompted to sign in with their membership information. Travelers who are not currently enrolled in any of the above programs can enroll using a web browser or through a link provided in the new app.
