What to See at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Welcome to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!

1/16
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Walt Disney World in Orlando! On select nights from November 8 until December 21, guests can enjoy this special event complete with sweet treats, memorable character appearances, live entertainment, and unique merchandise. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed event, and guests with party tickets can arrive as early as 4 p.m. even though the party officially starts at 7.

Special Christmas Party Entrance

2/16
When you enter the park, you'll receive a special wristband specifically for the party. Cast members will direct you to go through the special Very Merry Christmas Party entrance. There are multiple spots along the way for photos and carts where you can stock up on merchandise.

Complimentary Holiday Treats

3/16
Unlimited festive goodies are included in the price of your ticket; you just have to know where to look! You'll receive a Mickey Mouse sugar cookie upon entering the party. Throughout your time in the park, look for the candy cane striped markers that indicate free treats are available there. You'll find delights such as peppermint crunch cookies, apple cider, a snowman soft pretzel, hot chocolate and more. All items are individually wrapped, and allergy-friendly or healthy options are available upon request.

Festive Live Entertainment

4/16
Catch live shows exclusive to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party around the park. Enjoy shows like A Frozen Holiday Wish on the stage in front of Cinderella's castle and dance parties at Storybook Circus and Club Tinsel. Make sure to grab a brochure on your way into Magic Kingdom Park as it contains show times and locations for all live entertainment.

Exclusive Merchandise

5/16
Inspired by families taking holiday photos at the Very Merry Christmas Party in years past, Disney now offers coordinating Christmas Party t-shirts. You can also buy limited edition pins for trading, a ceramic mug with a whipped cream-shaped lid and festive MagicBands. The Annual Passholder t-shirt is bright blue and features Donald Duck among toy soldiers in his attempt to take over Mickey's Christmas Party.

Jingle Cruise

6/16
Many rides and attractions are still open during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Make sure to check out the Jingle Cruise, a variation on the classic Jungle Cruise. Your skipper will be bursting to share holiday puns as they guide you along the river, and you'll find festive touches added to the displays. In one spot, monkeys were wearing Santa Clause hats and wrapped presents seemed to be scattered throughout the ride.

The Dapper Dans Sing Holiday Hits

7/16
Catch the Dapper Dans on Main Street, U.S.A. cracking jokes and blending their voices in beautiful harmonies. They're dressed in their traditional pinstripes with a festive twist, and in addition to their normal song and joke selection, you'll catch holiday favorites like Frosty the Snowman and Jingle Bells.

Get Glam with Character Couture

8/16
Character makeovers aren't just for kids anymore. Guests of all ages can transform into their favorite Disney personality with the Character Couture packages at Disney Salons. Your creativity is the only limit when you collaborate with your stylest, so feel free to add holiday-inspired flair to your look. You can choose from princes, princesses, villains, and superheroes to prepare for your day at the parks.

Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration

9/16
In this heart-warming show, Mickey invites all of his friends over to celebrate the upcoming holidays. Crowd favorites like Peter Pan, Woody and Jessie, Snow White and Alice in Wonderland join Mickey and the gang as they sing your favorite Christmas carols and some new songs, too. The show plays four times throughout the evening in front of Cinderella's Castle, so you'll have plenty of opportunities to watch it.

Special Holiday Treats

10/16
Aside from the complimentary cookies and cocoa, you'll have ample opportunity to savor the flavors of the season. Try one of the Holiday Dessert Parties for the best seats and delicious eats during the fireworks display, or head to Tony's Most Merriest Town Square Party for hors d'oeuvres and sweets for prime parade viewing. Both of these events require purchasing a separate ticket.

Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

11/16
At 8:30 and 11:00 p.m. you'll be able to relax and enjoy one of the most cheerful celebrations of the seasons. Once Upon a Christmastime Parade includes Mickey and Minnie as well as characters from Frozen, Snow White, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast and Toy Story who are all paving the way for Santa Clause himself. Kids will enjoy the dancing tin soldiers, gingerbread men and reindeer who make the parade extra festive.

A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas

12/16
So much magic happens on Main Street, U.S.A. and in front of Cinderella's Castle, but don't forget to check out Tomorrowland! Hayley Comet, Buzz Lightyear, Mike Wazowski and Stitch perform in A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas on the Rockettower Plaza Stage. You can also catch The Edge Effect harmonizing to holiday hits on this stage four times each night.

Character Meet and Greets

13/16
One of the biggest draws of the after-hours Christmas Party is that guests can meet characters in their holiday finest. Mickey, Minnie and the gang are all dressed up in their merriest apparel, and you might even get the chance to pose for pictures with Jack Skellington as Sandy Claws, Santa Goofy, Scrooge McDuck and Santa Clause in the Main Street Courtyard.

Snowfall on Main Street

14/16
One of the highlights for me as a Floridian was watching the snow fall on Main Street. The weather here rarely gets cold enough to put on a sweater, much less snow boots. You can experience this snowy magic during the parade and Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration.

Holiday Decorations around the Park

15/16
There is so much excitement and celebration around Magic Kingdom Park during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, but take a moment to just wander around and enjoy the Disney holiday magic and decorations. Main Street, U.S.A. is decked out in garland, lights, wreaths and a towering Christmas tree in Town Square. It's truly a magical sight to behold.

Holiday Wishes Fireworks Show

16/16
End your time at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party with a bang while watching the Holiday Wishes fireworks display. The magic takes place over Cinderella's Castle which is transformed into an ice palace sparkling brightly against the night sky. The score is moving and the pyrotechnics are nothing short of enchanting, making it the perfect end to a festive evening of cookies, cocoa, characters and Christmas cheer.
