Instagrammable Disney Snacks

1/21
In my opinion, the best way to eat at Disney is to snack your way through. As a mom of three little kids, sitting in a restaurant with table service isn't exactly my idea of a vacation. Eating snacks outside in the shade, where no one cares about noise or mess, is more our family's style right now. During our last few family trips to Disney, I've been delighted to find that the snacks aren't just delicious, they're picture-perfect, too! Here are my top 20 choices for Disney treats that look great on Instagram.

Purple Minnie Cake on a Stick

2/21
Potion Purple headbands debuted at Disney World at the beginning of 2019, making it one of the trending colors for snacks around the parks. Of course, everything tastes better when it's mouse-shaped, so snag one of the Purple Minnie Cake on a Stick treats from the Castle Hub Cart in Magic Kingdom. It's just a short walk away from the Insta-famous Purple Wall, so you can be sure to pose with your cake pop in front of the wall. With vanilla cake and a purple shell, it's a perfectly light treat to enjoy while watching a parade!

Macaron With Raspberry and Lime Cream

3/21
This Disney take on the famous French cookie is pretty in pink and ready for the Gram. If you're strolling the World Showcase at Epcot and find yourself craving something sweet, make a stop at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in France where you can find this raspberry macaron among other delicacies. I found it photographs exceptionally well against the bright blue door just outside the Souvenirs de France shop.

Disney Cupcakes

4/21
You can't go wrong with a good old-fashioned cupcake! At Disney, though, everything is bigger, better and more photogenic. These adorable cupcakes were limited-edition treats for Hollywood Studios 30th-Anniversary, but pop your head into just about any bakery around the Disney Parks for perfectly Instagrammable cupcakes. Think rose gold cupcakes from Sunshine Seasons at the Land Pavilion in Epcot, princess cupcakes from Intermission Food Court at All-Star Music Resort or the always rotating cupcake options from Contempo Café at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Lost Princess Cone

5/21
When it's hot and you're in the middle of an Orlando theme park, sometimes all you want is an ice cream cone. Indulge your cravings and get your next Instagram photo with the Rapunzel-themed Lost Princess Cone from Storybook Treats in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. Yes, those adorable flowers are edible, and the lemon-flavored ice cream is so refreshing after waiting in long lines.

Night Blossom

6/21
After a long hot day at Animal Kingdom, you must stop and refresh yourself with the colorful Night Blossom drink from the Pongu Pongu Lounge in Pandora: World of Avatar. The purple and lime green layered beverage topped with bright orange passion fruit boba balls makes for the perfect Instagram photo with Pandora in the background. It was the perfect combination of sweet and sour with limeade, apple and pear flavors that had my kids fighting over sips. Maybe we should have gotten 2 cups to share with the added benefit of a Boomerang cheers video!

The Magical Sundae

7/21
One secret I've learned about Disney over the past few years is that a lot of the coolest or most Instagrammable snacks are not necessarily found in the parks but around Disney Springs and the Disney Resorts! If it's your day off from the parks, you can still get the 'gram. The Magical Sundae from Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop in Disney Springs has all the magic you need with the chocolate-dipped waffle cone mouse ears, colorful sprinkles and loads of hot fudge.

Jack Jack Num Num Cookie

8/21
If you've seen the most recent Incredibles movie, make sure to hustle over to An Incredible Celebration in Municiburg at Hollywood Studios for the Num Num Cookie. It's the perfect photo-op with the Jack Jack-shaped hole in the wall or against one of the many murals in this corner of the park. Baby Jack Jack might be small, but these cookies are not, so make sure you have someone to share it with! But hurry! An Incredible Celebration is only open until September 30, 2019.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Treats

9/21
For fans of kid-friendly Halloween fun at Disney World, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a great place to get some food photos. Last year's Not-So-Poison Apple Cupcakes were a hit found at Main Street Bakery. The cinnamon-apple cupcake with a buttercream dome was gigantic and perfect for a spooky pose. Other crowd favorites included the Jack Skellington Cake Push Pops and Mickey-shaped Pumpkin Cheesecake. Can't wait to see what the party has in store this year!

Cheshire Cat Tail

10/21
If you're wandering around Magic Kingdom in the morning hours and you're looking for a photogenic treat that tastes like a breakfast pastry, stop at the Cheshire Café for one of Disney's famous Chesire Cat Tails. It tastes like a donut with the texture of a flaky croissant, and the pretty pink and purple icing on top makes it the star of your next Disney photo.

Mickey Crispy Treat With Caramel Drizzle

11/21
Experienced Disney-goers know that Karamell-Kuche in the Germany Pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase is one of the top spots to go for a sweet caramel treat. The Mickey Crispy Treat is a crowd favorite and photographs well with the quaint Bavarian buildings as a backdrop.

Unicorn Mini Donuts

12/21
Joffrey's Coffee and Tea now offers 4-packs of miniature donuts, with the unicorn design as one of the most Instagrammable. It's tiny, it's on-trend and it has the cutest little rainbow candy horn. You can snag these at Disney Springs if it's your day off from the parks, or you can find them at Joffrey's Coffee and Tea stands around Magic Kingdom.

Key Lime Pie on a Stick

13/21
It may not be the authentic Key Lime Pie you would find in Key West, but the Key Lime Pie on a Stick from Disney's Hollywood Studios sure is aesthetically pleasing! The bright blue coating is sweet enough to balance out the tartness of the pie, so even kids will love it. It's fun to share, fun to eat and even more fun to take photos of! Find it at Pixar Place for a limited time at Hollywood Studios.

Gaston's Tavern Cinnamon Rolls

14/21
What takes these cinnamon rolls from average pastry to Instagram-worthy is that they're roughly the size of a child's head. If you need a break from the heat and long lines of Magic Kingdom, duck inside Gaston's Tavern for some cool air conditioning and a warm cinnamon roll, then be sure to pose beside your pastry to document its sheer size! It's perfect for sharing with the whole family, too.

Monstrous Milkshakes

15/21
If you spend some time scrolling through Instagram, you'll notice that over-the-top milkshakes are everywhere. Beaches and Cream Soda Shop at Disney Beach Club Resort has hopped on board the colossal shake wagon and the result is something you'll want to show off to the world. The Monstrous Milkshakes come in strawberry, chocolate brownie and confetti vanilla, and each has an entire cupcake on top. You won't find a more extravagant treat to share with the Instagram world anywhere else. And don't worry! You can get these in the to-go line at Beaches and Cream, as the wait to sit down and dine is practically eternal.

Peter Pan Key Lime Float

16/21
This lime green refreshing drink is another Storybook Treats find in Magic Kingdom. The key lime soft serve and Sprite float is topped with an edible red chocolate feather to resemble Peter Pan's cap. The bright colors and nostalgia for Neverland make this a fun treat to share with your followers who appreciate some Disney magic. We also found this to be the perfect snack to share while waiting in line!

Biscuit Chocolat

17/21
Ok, so biscuit chocolat is just a fancy French way of saying chocolate chip cookie, but this classic delight from Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in Epcot has sizeable chocolate chunks and the stunning French backdrop to make it something special to share with your internet friends.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Treats

18/21
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special after-hours celebration at Magic Kingdom that takes place on select nights in November and December. You'll get to experience magical holiday parades, shows and rides, but the best part is the free hot chocolate and cookies available around the park. Make sure to document the adorable Mickey Mouse Christmas Cookies on your Instagram to commemorate the celebration.

Frozen Dessert Violet Lemonade

19/21
This Epcot Flower and Garden Festival beverage is so popular that this year Disney came out with merchandise like mouse ears, t-shirts and tumblers to match your Violet Lemonade in your photos. If that's not an Instagram-worth snack, I don't know what is! The Violet Lemonade is a sweet slushy that's ice-cold for cooling off in that midday Florida heat.

Hot Fudge Cookie Sundae

20/21
Storybook Treats in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom does it again! They upgraded the classic sundae with a giant chocolate chip cookie split in half to look like mouse ears. The image of thick hot fudge topped with fluffy whipped cream and colorful sprinkles will make your followers drool.

Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bar

21/21
And last, but certainly not least, is the quintessential Disney World treat. The Mickey Premium bar is affordable, tasty and easy to enjoy while walking around the park. You can't go wrong photographing this ice cream delight in front of virtually any Disney background, so go forth and pose! Just grab some napkins if you're going to let your kids share with you.

Walt Disney World is famous for making every experience magical, including your snacks. Make sure you document these adorable creations along the way!
