LGBTQ-Friendly Vacation Options Offering Specials for Pride Month

It's that time of year again! June is Pride Month, and with that comes a desire to celebrate it - what better way to celebrate than to travel?

Whether it'll be traveling to one of the country's foremost Pride celebrations, like in New York City or San Francisco, or jetting off to an all-inclusive in Mexico to enjoy a couple's vacay, the hotels and resorts on this list are all offering something different to celebrate Pride with packages, events and even an LGBTQ-owned motel!

Provenance Hotels' collection of thirteen boutique properties are all participating in Pride Month by starting the "Loud and Proud" promotion, which begins in June and ends December 21, 2022. Guests who book through the promotion will have 10 percent of their bookings donated to PFLAG, the nation's first and largest organization for LGBTQ+ individuals and their families.

The artsy and eclectic 21c Museum Hotels are offering the LOVE IS LOVE package, available for booking now through December 31, 2022. The package includes a one-night stay at any 21c Museum Hotel, $50 dining credit, a 21c Pride Swag Bag and a donation to a local LGBTQ+ organization.

Hyatt is offering a Hyatt World Pride offer with up to 20 percent off your hotel or resort stay when you use the code PRIDE at checkout when booking participating hotels. Exclusions in the promotion include Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Zilara, Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties, UrCove and MGM partner properties.

Celebrate Pride Month at the swanky and historic Martinique New York on Broadway, which is offering guests a Pride Swag Bag for travelers staying June 23-26, when a $10 donation will be given to the Matthew Shepard Foundation for every booking made for these dates in June.

Part of IHG and a Hotel Partner for New York City's Pride celebrations, voco Times Square South is offering a sweet package to begin celebrating the moment you check-in. The Pride & Rosé with voco Times Square South + Veuve du Vernay package is available throughout the month of June and includes a special bottle of Veuve du Vernay champagne in the room.

A Queer Destinations Committed property, the adults-only Thompson Playa del Carmen will be celebrating Pride all month long with weekly DJ-hosted pool parties on its rooftop pool deck and drag queens at the Alessia Day Club.

For travelers wanting a fun summer road trip that brings them within the glories of nature and supports an LGBTQ-owned business, stay at The Redwood Riverwalk! Located off the Redwood Highway near Humboldt Redwoods State Park, this outdoorsy motel offers a comfortable stay with free breakfast and is owned by Jeff Durham and his husband, Joe Wolosz. Guests can even request handmade bagged lunches for their hikes or excursions. The pet-friendly motel also has several initiatives to reduce waste and help the environment.

Did you know Florida's largest Pride parade takes places in St. Petersburg each year? Stay at the historic Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club, which is located near the bay in the heart of the city. Guests who visit during Pride Month can enjoy a show by Sandra Bernhard and the Pride Parade, which marches directly passed the hotel for easy access.

Moxy's three New York City hotels are offering some great perks for travelers heading to the Big Apple to celebrate Pride. Moxy's Got Pride Package includes a free Pride Tour of NYC, tie-dye bandannas, temporary tattoos and Stonewall Inn x Brooklyn Brewery IPA upon arrival. Guests can enjoy this package all through June at the Moxy Times Square, Moxy East Village and Moxy Chelsea; prices range from $294 to $329.

Located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, the Crowne Plaza HY36 is offering its Stay with Pride package through June, donating $10 to The ali Forney Center for every package booked and giving guests two free Pride-themed cocktails and welcome bag filled with goodies. The hotel is also hosting a drag brunch series throughout June.

Located a few blocks from the San Francisco Pride parade route, The Clancy is a great choice for travelers celebrating their pride! Guests can book the Celebrate Your Pride package each weekend in June, which includes a king or queen room, valet parking and cocktails for two at the hotel's Seven Square Taproom.

Another awesome New York City hotel, the InterContinental New York Times Square offers a great location and includes a Stay with Pride package that donates 5 percent of the room rate to The Trevor Project. As a bonus gift, the hotel will provide two free cocktails for those who book the package.

For those wanting to celebrate their pride far from home, check out the Hilton Vallarta Riviera All-Inclusive Resort. It's offering a Celebrate with Pride package for stays June 1 through June 30 with a minimum three-night stay, with rates starting at $450 a night per double occupancy, 15 percent savings on the resort's drinks package, $50 spa credit and early check-in and late check-out.

Mohegan Sun, the casino and resort in Uncasville, Connecticut, is offering several fun Pride-themed celebrations during the month of June, including Pride on the Patio, Cocktails & Queens at the Cabaret Theatre, the PRIDE @ Night party and You Better Work Diva Brunch.

Located in Portland, Oregon, The Nines is a Luxury Collection Hotel offering a PRIDE package that includes champagne and chocolates, while the hotel itself is offering a series of Pride Month experiences, including a wine tasting event with an LGBTQ+ winemaker, themed beverages, artwork displays by members of the LGBTQ community, a Pride Soiree and more.
